Here's a mini video I made recreating the POV shots through a mask like Mychael from Halloween. Whilst watching Halloween this shot in particular stood out to me, as it was extremely effective in terms of placing the audience in an uncomfortable position as a killer. I choose to put the sound of an heartbeat over some of the clips I had filmed to build tension this was a sucuessful aspect, however I realised after creating this mini film that using fast cuts and fade to blacks would have been more appropriate and effective. In my final trailer I hope to use POV shots as I think they work well in the Horror genre.

Day 38 : Recreating POV shots from Halloween
